What a beautiful day today. We were having a special Friday lunch of a well done tender and juicy rump steak with salad. Half an hour earlier, Our client contacted us and they said that someone called and warned them about their website security issue. That call was freaking them out like someone hacked into their site! Obviously, they asked us to follow up this case as a top priority.

We called the guy up and a friendly guy was answering the phone and start introduce himself. He explained exactly what was the problem. A strictly confidential document was accessible from the public through a link from a search engine. We added a blocking script to solve this problem in less than 5 minutes. That guy was a really nice guy.

After we hung up the phone, we just realised that the security issue call was only used as an excuse to catch the business!

Our client has a good ranking site, it is obvious that they gets a lot of phone calls. It means the SEO is working. However once in a blue moon, they may get a random non-sales phone call.

It doesn’t make sense to us of why someone from a web design company was concerning about other people documents?

Our relationship with our client was being tempted. It wasn’t that easy to brake it with a scam phone call.

Only genuine calls deserve an appreciation.
